It's quite interesting

CHA has been quite interesting this time. Lots of vintage things and lots of stuff that is shabby chic. Just like we like it. I have a ton of pictures that I am making a slide show out of so be a little patient. It has been a whirlwind. Let me tell you about some of my likes.

First, (by far and we weren't gonna get it because every craft store in Atlanta carry's it), was the Basic Grey. The Fall, the Christmas and other lines are the best. I am so in love with it that it is unbelievable. The next was Cosmo Cricket! Bought every line. Can not believe it!!!!!Iy is the best. Oh my gosh the Graphic 45 is to die for. ya'll vintage is in. I guess that "grandma feeling" is what we are all trying to get back too. Even if we don't catch the feeling, our scrapbooks definitely will.lol

So for today the sale is Fancy Pants, Sassafrass, October Afternoon, My Minds Eye and prima paper 50% off. I am buying that today and I definitely need it gone. Oh yeah, I have spent so much at the Basic Grey booth that I might need some help there also.lol so that can be 50% off too. that is just today.

We have to close tomorrow so I am gonna post a contest and give you till Friday.

Yummy

We made it to CHA in time to attend a few parties last night and boy did we have fun. I am gonna skip all the blah blah and tell you about the sale and then let you look at the yummy stuff from SEI and Glitz. Ya'll we are planning some great things with SEI and Glitz. Let's just say the Glitz girls might be making a visit. Get glitzy. Oh my gosh we also made our first commerical with Cheryl Mezzetti talking about her classes in October. I definitely want you to see her work!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!

The sale is 40% of SEI and anything Glitz so we can make plenty of room for the new. And yes people it will be shipping soon. So the faster we get it out the faster we can get it in. Rush, Run, Gallop, Swim anything you have to do to get to the store and help clear it out I am soooooo excited.

Oh let me put some more on sale because I know tomorrow I will be melting some credit cards. It will be like watching the wick witch of the west.....I'm melting, I'm melting.lol

How about Marks paper, KI and school papers. Yep let's move it people buy it up-take it home-Scrap it. Yes we are gonna make scrapping the hippest hobby in the South. Whoo Hooo.

Keepin you in the know

As you might have heard 2 more Georgia Scrapbbook stores are closing their doors this week. Just let me Scrapbook in Barnesville and Scrapbook, Invitations and More in Fayetteville. It is such sad news. Yes business has been terrible for the past year for most scrapbook stores due to the economy and other circumstances but its still hard to hear about your friends leaving something you know they put their heart and soul into.

I met Claire of SIM just once at a meeting at the old Matte Magic but she was the nicest person. She offered us all kinds of help and sincerely wanted us to succeed in the business. I know this move is hard for her. It says that they will have a ESTY store so make sure ladies that you support them.

Mary Beth is a a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. She is a southern belle with all the sweetness molasses has. I truly love her. Since my husband has been stationed away from Savannah I do not get to see her as often. She too is gonna have an on line store so make sure that you support her.

Scrapbooking is our passion and we all try hard to give you what you want when you want it. So make sure ladies that you support your local stores. We are becoming a dying breed here in Georgia.

Now for happier news. We won't have a sale today because tomorrow if you have a green tote we are gonna have a....

Little late

Truthfully I got up at 5 and started cleaning the fridge and doing everything else. Totally got into the zone. Looked up and it was 8:30 time to take the kiddo to work. But nevertheless I am here with some fun. I would tell you about the getting into the zone the other day which involved cooking, smoke and having to leave the house. But it might be a little embarrassing.lol

Today we will have a sale on everything chipboard. Let's have some fun with that. Chipboard 40% off. Add that to the Fancy Pants and Sassafrass you can make the cutest album ever.

Next day sale

Today we will start with the adhesives. We have some Tombo and Glue Arts. Now is the time to stock up on your large Glue Arts refills. How about everything on the turning display including tools at 40% off. There are lots of tools an there. Punches, files, all kinds of things. I like the wall thingy action. What about all the rub ons on the door 40% off also. That way you have an embellishment to use with your tools. One more thing. The American Craft paper, rub ons and stickers all 40%. Excludes thickers.

Sales, Sales and more sales

Hubby left and sadness has set in. So I am trying to find things that make me happy to pass the time away till he comes back. One thing that I have found that I LOVE to do is shop. So why not put that to use in the store. This week will be full of fun sales and things to do. You must keep up with the blog to find out. I will announce sale everyday. Now you can take advantage of them on that day or wait. But I wouldn't wait. No telling if that sale will ever come up again.

The first sale of the week is ALL clearance is 50%. Anything with a red tag is outta there. ALL Heidi Swoop yep including the invisible and embellishments are 40%. Cool stuff there. And one more thing. How about lets do the mini albums by SEI the boy and the girl at 40%. Whew

Since hubby has been here we have travelled over 3000 miles, been in five states and have only eaten dinner together at our table once. It has really been a whirlwind month. Lots to scrap about once I get the time. Oh did I also mention that I am doing a comp test for for my doctorate which has to be turned in by the the end of August.lol More scrap book moments to journal about. More sleep to lose.:)

So have you been to the store lately? I hope so we are making stutle changes here and there and hoping that they are making you happy. Ordered some new clearance items that can only be found in our clearance room. Also getting ready for CHA. Will be asking lots of questions once I get settle.

Here is the picture of the winning layout. It is great! She loves to cut out stuff. Honey I am a slapper! Slap here and slap it there! She is so cool. She makes her own embellishments and uses things and colors in new and innovative ways.

This week

So much will be going on this week. First I am gonna wish myself a Happy 47th Birthday today and apologize for the late post. Test time for high school rising seniors. Started at 7:15 this morning which meant we left the house at 6:30ish. Just getting back to normal.

So let me tell you about this week.

Hmm last days with hubby till he goes back so let me finish and get back to all the household jobs I was suppose to get done before he got back.lol
