I'm Back!

It has been a loong time. I am so sorry but wait till you here half of the excuses. They are pretty funny.

First, as you already know my child is a competitive cheerleader. Indy was the first drive spot. from here about what 8 hours? let's just say  that Jeff Gordon has nothing on me. We left at 11:30 due to a real late dr.'s appt and made it by the 7:00 practice time. My husband was calling every three hours in panic mode. It was all good. We won national champions for Level 2 Seniors. Hooray!

 

Turned out pretty good huh!?:)

So while I was there I realized something else had happened. My phone would not charge. This cute critter ate my phone cord up. So I had to drive to DC without a phone. About 9 hours got there in time to buy a one but totally forgot when I went to talking to the family. So it was Wednesday before I could get my phone charged.

The inauguration was great. I went to the parade. The slide show will give you the best of the pictures. They got out right in front of me. I was so happy. It was awesome. Enjoy.

But wait, this is a scrapbook store blog. What you really want to know is about the store. SOOOO CHA was the bomb. If you like little critters, every line had them. Believe me it is the year of the animal. I'll do a slide show with the highlights. Easier for you than reading all this.

Reminders for this weekend. We have a great card class this weekend taught by Laetitia. You can come in and get all the new ribbon that we bought from LA. Our credit card is going to explode because everyhting is ready now. Can you believe it. I can't believe CHA is this weekend.  WOW!  You cannot imagine the entire convention hall filled with the newest and coolest and beautifulest (lol) new crafty creations. It's funny because when we're shopping and making orders, we tell each other, :"you know so and so will love this." or "I can't wait to see what she makes out of this line."  We really do shop with you in mind.  We're checking the blog, so if you're catching any sneak peeks on line that you really, really can't live without, please let us know.

Ready to go

I have my layers, my timberlands, hat scarf, gloves, hunters ski mask and lots of those hot hands. That should get me through the drive to Indy!LOL. We are about to leave in an hour but I wanted everyone to know that we have the Little Yellow Bicycle and Fancy Pants Valentines in. We also have most of the new Quick Kutz from the elegant line and the party line. The party cake and cupcake are so cute. You really need to see them.

Wish me luck with all the crowds in Indy for the cheer competition and the massive crowds in DC. I will post pictures when I can. Don't forget that this weekend is MLK celebration. Volunteer somewhere. Share the spirit of change and progress. You'll love the feeling.

So much to see

Everyday they are adding more things to the sneak peeks. It is so exciting. To we are going to more than one site. This should be really fun. Oh and this post won't be as long. C'mon let's get started.

First I would like to say congrats to Jennifer and Charmi. They both win a Cosmo packet and a SHOTS spot. That was so easy! They answered ALL the questions. There was another contest no winners yet.

It's time to travel to the next blog site and look at some more paper. I am pretty sure that you have looked at the sneak peeks on a million memories.com blog and have lots of opinions. The Stamp card club will meet Sunday. Pretty fun week planned. The lunchtime love is pretty cool. You willl be making an Valentines mini album and four cards. Well worth the $5. The make and take for Saturday is really cute. Kelly willl instruct  you on making a "intentions" card holder. Cool! Lots of techniques. The Main Squeeze club willl have a great time making cards with our new dies. Oh yeah, there is a Valentines card class with Laetitia and let me tell you it is so worth it! I'll give you a glance at the cards you willl be making. So great! The card clubs monthly kit is the bomb! You don't want to  miss signing up for that club also.

Let's start.So today is the first of the contests. Hmmm Let's start with Graphic 45. I'll tell you where to go to get a sneak peek at the new stuff and then I'll ask a few questions. First response with all the questions right wins a goodie prize. Yes they are worth the trouble.

An so on....

So today I tell you about the memory art sessions. So we have revamped these also. Because of the economy we have decided to move things around a bit.

First, we have a new Friday night mini session. It is from 6-9. You will complete a project and have the opportunity to make more! All for $5! Last month we had a jingling good time!LOL It's called SHOTS. For a shot of creativity. It is the 2nd Friday of every month. All you need is you basic kit. (adhesive, paper cutter and scissors) So join us. The food is great and so is the company.

We now have a lunch crop from 10-6 on the 3rd Saturday of the month. It is $10. You get a make and take and lunch. Last time we learned a little about organization. It was fun. Great price also. So plan to join us for that.

We also have a free crop! What a free crop!? Yep! On the fourth Sunday of the month from 1-6. It is called the bailout crop.  Come on in for some fun and relaxing creativity.

We have a new snack station where you can purchase drinks and snacks while you crop, so no running to the store for those last minute munchies.

Bittersweet by Basic Grey is beautiful. You must come in and see it. We also have a black and white display to help you with those calendar ideas for the new year. Starting tomorrow, I will do a contest using the sneak peeks from around the Internet. We have some cool prizes and it ought to be fun to see what is coming soon.

Don't forget that the goody bags are waiting for you for buying $30 worth of product. Come on in and see what ya get. The Page Maps is on the second Tuesday @10.30 and the 3rd Thursday night. I'll make sure for you.Thanks for the comments.
