Yes its true, we will be open another two weeks and then we must close for good. So that means everything and I mean everything has to be out by the 25th. We are going to sell everything. We have had some decisions to make in the last month that will affect the store tremendously. Though it was a long hard decision, we have decided to close the store. It took so long to make this decision due to some legal and personal things that had to happen before we could announce it.
So regrettably we are going to have to close. I am at the dissertation stage of my doctorate and no longer can dedicate the time that is needed to run the everyday workings of a store. With research looming at all times, I have found it very, very, difficult to juggle my school, work and home life. (Lavel starts college and that has been something else). We really want to go on line but I don't even think I cn handle that right now either. So we will close the store.
We will start the closing sale Friday, July 30, from 1-6 until everything is gone. The discount will not go to 50-75% , so don't hesitate to come get what you want now. Everything, I mean everything is on sale. From the tables, chairs, inventory, decorations and storage stuff. Come get what you always wanted.

Yes, we will still be having our cricut swarm in August so those that are signed up for that we are still a go. You will be treated to some great goodies.

No internet, no computer and no blog. I know. You thought I fell off the earth and the store is closed but no we are open and I am still here. There has been a lot going on since June and I will have to update you on everything but for now, I am going to post the store hours and the sale for this week.There are changes for the store because we thought we had lost the lease. However, as it looks we willl be here for a minute but the store hours have changed.

I will still be coming in on some Wednesday's so if you see my truck (had to get a new one because I was in an accident that totaled the other one) please feel free to stop in.

Wow...what a busy summer. Tonya is out of town working on her PhD- she's actually taking "live, in-person, sit down with other people and listen to the professor" classes. Can you imagine her sitting still long enough to listen to a lecture and take notes? That's hard to picture. But she is an A student, so no doubt she'll do well.
Kelly is leaving for a 3 week trip out West with her daughter and her parents. 3 weeks in a RV travelling to Yellowstone, Zion National Park (Utah), and the Grand Canyon. It'll be fun, but 4 people together for 3 weeks in a RV...oh, boy. At least there will be lots of Kodak moments.
Laetitia just got back from California and it sounds like she had a ball. Of course, she has two kids to run around for summer time activities. I know many of you can relate to that...mom, can I go here? Mom, please take me here. Run around sally...

Great goodness. This has been the month from hades. I have revamped the house, done some on my dissertation, entertained out of town guests and now trying to finish up the festivities for this graduation. It really has been something else. Friday is the day and we are expecting at least 30 overnight guests. Talk about a space issue in the house.lol We'll make it through, thanks to the help of my wonderful neighbors. I can't believe that she is graduating from high school. It was just yesterday that I introduced her to pottery barn kids or explained why Popsicles melt. Ahh I will miss those days. Now I explain why you can't go to the club and come in my house after 12 at 18!!!!lol Wish us luck.
Now for store business. There is so much planned for June. First, let's finish up May. Laetitia has a pail class similar to the one that we made for National Scrapbook week. It is really cute. The class is this Sunday from 2-4 and is $20. Create a cute mini album to highlight those first vacation photos.
The sale this week is 30% off all card making items and storage. Let's add all the celebration paper for graduation and memorial day. We have some great new papers in for memorial day and July 4th.
We are planning on a garage sale next month on June 26. So get all your scrapbook goodies ready. This time Scrap Chic will join in on the fun. We will have a special section of things for sale also. so make sure you put that on your calender. Our yard sale works like this. You pay for a space and this time you only have to pay 20% of what you make to the store. So if you make $200 then we receive 20. It's just that easy. So get all your goodies ready. It's gonna be a great time.
